12years old Chinanu Herbert debut for umu-Okoro in 2018 Amawom unity cup



Chinanu Herbert 12years old striker of good soccer academy of Owerri, who hails from umu Okoro in Amawom autonomous community of Owerri n'ichi-ise, Owerri municipal local government area of Imo state, and he is a JSS 2 student of Emmanuel college Owerri . 


Chinanu debuted for umu-Okoro's first kindred match against umu Oguomam kindred in the 2018 Amawom unity cup sponsored by honorable obinna mbata the house of assembly contestant under all progressive grande alliance for owerri municpal constituency in honor of late Mr. Anthony Uche Ejimofor in Owerri municpal local government area of Imo state at old township stadium in Owerri.  



Although Chinanu Herbert played for 10 mins towards the end of the second half which the won by 3-2 against umu Ogumam.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
