Ellen Johnson Sirleaf commissioned road sign post at Onitsha road is a death instrument



A newly commissioned road named after the former Liberian president her excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf last year as part of her partnership with Rochas foundation with it's block sign post facing Amakohia and Owerri-Onitsha express road junction have turned to a death trap zone for road user, due to unconsidered road safety regulations before installing the built road sign posts and other road beautification because of the large port hole beside the road which newly constructed therefore the Imo state government  should call back the engineer back to revisit the road and as well save life now to avert blood spill condition which could have been avoided.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
