Election campaign posters, take over streets of Amawom

It has been observed by Drizzlersnews correspondent,that the residential buildings, Eke Onunwa mini street market, Eke-Ukwu Owerri market building plaza and as well various streets, kindred's, that make up Amawom autonomous community, are flooded with a political

campaign posters, which looks like the past Nigerian general election. 

On making more inquiries about the posters in Amawom Owerri nchi ise autonomous communities, in Owerri municipal local government area, our correspondent visited the chairman of Amawom youth organization, Elvis Uzoma Nnadi, aka Uzo Nda Uzo, who confirmed that the Amawom youth organization, recently concluded their kindred level primaries, for all contestable positions, which include 



youth chairman, vice chairman, chair lady, secretary, assistant secretary, financial secretary, assistant financial secretary, treasurer, director of socials, provost 1 & 2, and the successful candidates at the kindred level election, will participate in the general election, that will take place Sunday on 14TH of November 2021 and for the past two weeks, since the conclusion of the primary election in all the kindred's in Amawom autonomous community, campaign have generally been flagged off, as candidates go to the electorates, with their manifestos and the reasons why the should be voted into power, which their tenure will last in the next two years.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
