War escalate at Amawom youth election

 

Amawom youth election, which have been very peaceful in past years, since it had been conducted, in the community, and their method of leadership, is a two years term, which have been rotatory, to different kindred's, in their community.

But in 2021, it has created fright among the elders, of the community of Amawom, as the election is taking a different shape, with mix reaction of thuggery and

intimidation of the electoral committee members, by Nkem Okoro supporters, who accused the committee of accepting bribe, from a group of God fathers known, as the Kabals, that is led by Leonard Osuji (Ebube Agu) to ensure that their candidates, get the necessary support, during the manifesto and intentionally omitting their candidates name Nkem Okoro from Ekeonunwa kindred. 

According to the report, received by the Drizzlersnews correspondent, confirmed that Nkem Okoro , who is also known as Alinco,during their campaign rally, at umu Okorie, were chanting horrible songs, and described Ebube Agu, calling him a thief and a hungry man, on that same night, while the committee members, were having their meeting in a joint, at Nwodo street, in preparation for the manifesto that will take place, this boys chased the committee members in their meeting, with dangerous weapons and some of them caught were beating up by these group of Alinco's supporters. 

On the 5TH of November 2021, it was another royal rumble wrestling championship, against the electoral committee members, who wanted to conduct the manifesto,  for the candidates, as Alinco's supporters, stormed at the  manifesto venue, at Nwodo by Njemanze junction and destroyed the whole seats and canopies hired for the programme , then the electoral committee members, received the beating of their lives and the Kabal members could not challenge Alinco's supporters, rather ran for their lives. 

But presently the youth election, that is to take place on the 6TH of November 2021, have been suspended and the electoral committee members, for the Amawom youth election were invited by Department of State Security Service (DSS) for proper investigation, although no further report have been given about their discussion with the DSS and will Nkem Okoro (Alinco) will be allowed to contest for the election, all now depends on the electoral committee and no date have been given for the election.
