Former Owerri Municipal T.C chairman Alex Ojiri Escalade EXT hit by drunk bus Imo driver


The former Owerri Municipal transition committee chairman Alex Ojiri who hails from Ogugba na Nneke kindred in Owerri nchi-ise autonomous community, said "His Escalade EXT was hit by a drunk bus Imo taxi driver
in front of his house at Njemanze street in Owerri local government area in Imo state, but the side is affected and the bus Imo taxi is parked in my compound ".

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
