umu-Akuru unity nations cup opening match between South Africa versus Tunisia ended in a 2-2 draw.
In the first half of the game a penalty was issued against the South African team which the referee signaled that it was a corner kick.
But the video assistant referee (VAR) indicated there was a contact between South African goal keeper and the Tunisian player in the 18 yard box.
The review from the var camera showed that it was a penalty which the players of the South Africans protested for almost 10mins before the penalty kick was scored by Olumba Nnaji keeping the Tunisians on top of the game with a one Zero lead against the South Africans .
In the second half of the game a penalty was awarded to the South Africans against the Tunisians which was missed. But after twenty minutes into the second half of the game the South African defender intentionally touched the ball with his hand in the 18yard box which a penalty was awarded to the Tunisian team by the referee. The penalty was converted by Olumba Nnaji.
Towards the end of the game between South Africa scored a wonderful goal from Michael Bekee Chinemerem against Tunisians. During the extra time Joshua Chinemerem leveled it up to 2-2 draw.
