Oru -Owerri grand finale festival procession



Oru Owerri grand finale festival procession was led by the president general Felix Ngoka and the traditional prime minister P.C Nnawuchi known as (Owe of Owerri). 



The procession march which took place on the 28th of July 2019 at Ugwu Ekwema, with all the age grade groups gracefully dressed in their traditional uniforms.  


 Oru-Owerri procession train stopped over in the five villages that made up Owerri nchi-ise autonomous community which include umu-Ororonjo, Amawom, umu-Onyeche, umu-Odu, umu-Oyima. 



The procession train was received by the five various village heads and there were strategic stop over at Obi nde Oha at Tetlow road, Njemanze ancient palace at Okorie street, as well Ama-Awusa where the Hausa tribe, Yoruba tribe, as well Calabar and others Identified with the Owerri nchi-ise community but were received by the Sariki of Hausa community who supersede other heads. 





The special guest of honor was the Imo state governor Emeka Ihedioha who was represented by the Owerri Municipal transition interim committee management chairman Ebere Chukwumeka with the Owerri Municipal house of assembly member Hon.Solomon Anukam.
