Residence of Aladinma housing estate, face unrest attacks from armed robbers


The residence of Aladinma housing estate occupants in Owerri municipal local government area in Imo state,were kept on night gaze at their gates in Ohazara and Lake Nwaebere street by Okipe street, opposite Aladinma primary school football field, as two young armed robbers with their motorcycle, were seen forcefully dispossessing people their personal belongs, who were seen along the street with their gun in a silent rattle action, on Sunday 16th of August and Tuesday 18th of August between 8.00pm and 9.00 pm, acting like security personnel's on patrol. 

Although most of the robbery incidents in Imo state take place in afternoon, when everybody must have gone for their various personal  businesses including the rural areas, so let people intensify their security patrol checks including those trekking rather than take fifty Naira bribes from innocent hard working Nigerians because the yeltitude season is very close.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
