Super Eagles legend Nwankwo Kanu celebrate his 44th birth day

Nigeria's super eagles soccer legend Nwankwo Kanu on
1st of August, 2020, celebrated his 44 on Saturday. 

 World football governing body, FIFA, Confederation of African Football (CAF), the Nigeria Football Federation and even his former club, Ajax took to social media to celebrate the one time African footballer of the year, who retired from professional soccer game over a decade ago.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
