Traditional ruler of Obo Awarra community Eze Okey Egbulauwa and his gang arrested for alleged kidnapping


 



The traditional ruler of Obo Awarra community in Ohaji Egbema local government area in Imo state, his royal highness Eze Okey Egbulauwa and his gang have been arrested for alleged kidnapping by the anti robbery squad in Imo state. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, Eze Egbulauwa and his gang were paraded yesterday at the police headquarter yesterday and he has confessed that he is the master mind of the kidnap and robbery of two drug law enforcement agency as some ammunition's and the some of four million Naira were recovered from them. 

Eze Okey Egbulauwa is 59 years old and he is arrested along with a native doctor as well a pastor who is the spiritual director of the gang.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
