E.S.S.V.F.A demolish Mate FC 4-0

 


It was a rumble of tears ruining down on the cheeks of Mate FC , at community secondary school Emekuku, as the were thrashed down with 4-0 un-replied goals at the home ground of ESSVFA in a friendly match played yesterday. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, the first goal came in the first half of the game by ESSVFA against Mate FC, although it was a 40-30 ball possession as both team strikers were unable to convert opportunities into the goal post. 

In the second half it was massive goal bang for ESSVFA as three goals were scored to make it 4-0 against Mate FC, as most goals scored against Mate FC was all blamed on the goal keeper to due poor reflex, but it was discovered that he was a converted player used for goal keeping due to injuries faced by the key players of Mate FC.

But the return match will be played on Tuesday 25th of August at mount carmel catholic church football field Emekuku.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
