Tears of blood cry in Anambra state





Catholic faithful’s gathered on Monday to pray for the victims of Sunday’s attack at St .Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu in Anambra State. According to the catholic Bishop of Nnewi Arch dioceses Most Reverend Hilary Okeke said we have come here to seek for God’s presence and

the repose   of the souls of the 12 worshippers who were killed during the last Sunday’s attack as well as many who were injured at St .Philips Catholic Church Ozubulu Anambra State, and calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria and security agencies to ensure that the perpetrators were made to face the law.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
