Owerri Vigilante caught two armed robbers



At Old Stadium lane by Tellow road in the capital city of Imo state Owerri according to an eye witness report who spoke in anonymity said at exactly 2.00AM yesterday two young boys from same family and parents burlged a wine shop at Old stadium lane close to Eke onunwa market but they were very unfortunate  Owerri vigilante men on duty caught them and locked them inside the shop and went further to say that  armed robbers attack them with guns and take away their daily sales  but same shop have  been bugled two months ago but  they made away with one million Naira and so many other items  they boys were stripped naked beating  people who have shops in that old stadium lane saw them  in the morning  before they were handed over to the  police.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
