Emeka Ihedioha gives formal governor of Imo state a marching order of proper hand over



Imo state governor, his excellency Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha, have given the formal governor of Imo Owelle, Rochas Okorocha a marching order of proper handover before the of June 4th 2019 to the SSG  (Barr.) Uche Onyeaguocha and Chief of Staff, Chris Okewulonu as Permanent Secretary and Head of Service, under Okorocha, to quickly prepare all the necessary documents for hand over before mid night.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
