Father Cloonan memorial secondary school Emekuku won the 2019 archbishops cup

Father Cloonan memorial secondary school Emekuku (FCMSS) lifted the 2019 archbishops cup, after defeating CKC Obike in the soccer finals played at  Maria Assumpta cathedral football pitch which ended 2-0 scoreline in favor of the crowned champion. 

Twenty school teams participated in the competition and the undefeated champion of archbishops cup FCMSS have won the cup after twelve years .

The cup was presented to the victorious team of Father Cloonan memorial secondary school by Owerri catholic arch diocese bishop AJV Obinna.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
