Super Eagles 2nd choice goal keeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa mobbed by Imo state soccer fans

Super Eagles second choice goal keeper Ikechukwu  Ezenwa was mobbed by Imo state soccer fans at Dan Anyiam stadium for a photograph shot after the Imo state governorship swearing in testimonial charity soccer match of Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha between the nollywood actors and former super eagles stars which ended in a 3-1 score line against the entertainers. The goals were scored by Victor Ikpeba, Collins Amadi, and Emeka Ike.


It took alot of security protocol before fans allowed the Ifeanyi Uba FC goal keeper to go into the dressing room, although Nwankwo Kanu, Uche Okechukwu,Peter Rufai, Samson Siasia, Finidi George, Mutiu Adepoju, Ifeanyi Udeze and Mobi Oparaku hurriedly ran into the dressing tunnel to avoid stampede among the soccer fans and many who have not seen them before except on television sat on the tracks to watch the match it was an electrifying cheers for the sports hero's and the Imo state governor his excellency Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha who attracted the players. 

But the fans prayed for Ikechukwu Ezenwa who was listed for the African cup of nations tournament in Egypt which kick off by June 2019 as well they entire team of super eagles for a better performance possibly winning the cup.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
