Two armed robbers land in cross operation end road at Owerri

The Nigerian police force under Owerri urban recorded successful quick response interventions,salvaging  community public jungle justice of two arrested suspects of armed robbery at Douglas road and Aladinma housing estate in Owerri by 6.00 AM and 5.00 PM with ammunition.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
