Nigerians rancours over hostage of Senator.Dino Melaye

Kogi West district law maker who defected from the All Progressive Congress to People's Democratic Party Senator Dino Melaye have been forcefully taken on hostage by unknown gunmen that attacked the senator's convoy along Abuja-Lokoja express road while he is on his way to his state. 

Although he has been facing charges at the Lokoja Magistrate Court over alleged gun run with the Nigerian Police Force but he has accused present  Kogi state Governor Yahaya Bello over threat to his life and recently a newly built school in Kogi state which is one of his constituency project was burnt.  

The information about Senator Dino Melaye's kidnap was confirmed by two law makers Senator Ben Murray Bruce and Musa Shuaibu through his brother Moses Melaye as well his lawyer Mike Ozekhome who requested that the case be adjourned and it was adjourned until 9th of August 2018.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
