4 confirmed Dead, 8 injuired in Kawddi mosque terror attack at Zamfara state


Four persons have been confirmed dead and eight injured in a mosque terror hit in Zumi local government area Kawddi  and Gidan Goga district of Maradun Zamfara state during a Jumat prayers and this report was confirmed by the Zamfara state commissioner of police Mr.Kenneth Ebirmson who said there were sporadic shoot out in the communities by 8.00 am in the morning.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
