No more rigging of elections and imposing of candidates in PDP- Barr.Charles Ezekwem

The peoples democratic party Imo state chairman barrister Charles Ezekwem have compel all the board of trustee members to desist from imposing candidates on political supporters and executives of the party because of connections they have in Abuja through their political Godfathers or sponsors which are some of the challenges the party had in the past and maintained his stand that the right candidates must emerge through equity and fair play of justice for the 2019 general election. 

But PDP is now an opposition party and cannot afford to lose the up coming 2019 general election encouraged the people of Owerri North constituency and other Imo state electorates to register for their permanent voters card in their various local government secretariat and it is the only power the have to elect their choice of candidates to present them in the nation.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
