Death trap gully takes over freedom square road in Owerri.

 A constructed pipe linked into Nworie stream to control flood laid inside the ground have broken into piece and   newly coated road which is not up to two years by Imo state government under the administration of Owelle Rochas Okorocha have been swept away by flood it has created a gully which is close to plunging into peoples private residence not just that it is a death trap for motorist plying the route during the night and presently Imo state is experiencing the worst case scenario of flooding due to the massive demolition of road projects embarked by Imo state governor themed "Urban renewal" which none of the roads have attempted 10% completion with quack contractors been given the contracts and It is spotted along Freedom square road by Nworie beach resort.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
