Amaju Pinnick Appointed CAF Vice President

The former Nigerian football federation president Amaju Pinnick who stepped aside on court jurisdiction which saw the emergence of Chris Giwa as president of NFF on 2nd of July 2018, have been appointed as the first confederation of African football vice president following the resignation of Kwesi Nyantakyi in accordance to paragraph 27 section 2 which will be resolved by executive committee on the 27th and 28th of September 2018.

Pinnick was former commissioner of sports Delta state.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
