FG renames SARS as FSARS

The special anti robbery squad (SARS) have been renamed to federal special anti robbery squad as directed by the acting president of Nigeria professor Yemi Osinbajo who ordered the IGP to over haul the unit  which was under the department of force criminal intelligence and investigation department. 

According to the police public relations officer Jimoh Moshood who announced that the changes said " inspector general of police Ibrahim Idris appointed a new commissioner of police to oversees FSARS unit and he is answerable to the inspector general of police through the deputy inspector general of police but the unit have been channeled under the department of operations force head quarter Abuja.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
