Lafiya Dole 151 battalion ground to death three suspected terrorist at Bama in Borno state

The army director of public relations operation Lafiya dole brigadier general Texas Chukwu have confirmed the death of three suspected boko-haram terrorist in an ambush operation carried out by his men at Mayanti community in Bama Local Government Area in Borno state and items recovered from the suspects include three AK-47 rifles , 32 rounds of 7.62MM special ammunition, one motorcycle and two mobile phones efforts are made to apprehend others.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
