Sars arrest sacked director general of department of state security services




The Special Anti Robbery squad have arrested the Director General of department of state security services (DSS) Daura Musa Lawal over breach of security and his excellency the acting president of Nigeria Professor Yemi Osinbajo ordered for his termination of appointment  he has been replaced by Mathew Seiyefa which was disclosed through the senior special assistant on media and publicity to the vice president Laolu Akande.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
