Naval officer drills car snatcher at Maria Assumpta Cathedral in Imo state

A naval officer arrested and drilled a suspected car snatcher at the premises of Maria Assumpta Cathedral in Owerri the capital city of Imo state. 

His grace most reverend AJV Obinna who broke the sad news to they congregation during priestly ordination,described the suspect as a holy thief dressed as a seminarian working on the altar of God as the suspect plead for pardon before been handed over to the police for prosecution.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
