Godswill Akpabio formally join APC

The former Governor of Akwa Ibom state who is   representing Akwa Ibom state in the upper chamber of the national assembly Senator Godswill Akpabio have officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressive Congress (APC) although he has resigned as the minority leader of the upper chamber of the national assembly and he was received with a high ovation reception organized at Ikot Ekpene by the national chairman of All Progressive Congress comrade Adams Oshiomhole but could be made the president of the national assembly if senator Bukola Saraki will be impeached for relinquish his position to join PDP.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
