Local divers intensify search for the drowned corps members

Local divers have intensified search for the drowned corps members who went for picnic at river Salihu Dogo at Mayo Selbe in Gashaka Local Government Area in Taraba state. 

Although seven have been found and their bodies deposited in the Jalingo mortuary while two are yet to be found they names of the victims have not been released and Alhaji Zubair Hammangabd advised the military operatives to extend search to Taraba river as senior NYSC officers have relocated to Gashaka Local Government Area in Taraba state where the search operation is going on.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
