Rochas is wicked no divend of democracy in Imo state-Sir.Okechukwu Opara


Okechukwu Opara the Owerri municipal Local Government peoples democratic party chairman have described the Imo state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha as been not only wicked but as well subjecting Imo state citizens to abject poverty and suffering through his urban renewal program which roads like Douglas road in Owerri have been blocked for the past six months which no construction is going on there and markets like Eke-Ukwu Owerri were been demolished despite the court injunction no payment of salaries and pensions without proper consideration of the implication and the only accessible road in Imo state capital city is only Wetheral road. 

Rochas Okorocha is biding for his third term in office as the Imo state governor by imposing his son in-law honorable Uche Nwosu as his successor by campaigning for president Muhammadu Buhari and Okechukwu Opara through his PVC sensitization tour held at Ikenegbu ward 1  encouraged the people of Owerri municipal Local Government Area to register for their permanent voters card  because it is ending by 17th of August 2018 and the 2019 general election must be free and fair then announced that there will another mega rally on PVC sensitization been hosted by Owerri municipal Local Government Area in Imo state as former members of peoples democratic party decampee's like Major.Onye ekwe  and others were received back to the party by Okechukwu Opara.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
