Stan communications limited a recharge card distributor, located at Nkwo-Emeke market square in Owerri North Local Government Area in Imo state. Have reunite
with the kidnapped mother and other family members through the aid of Nigerian police anti kidnapping squad that helped in tracking and arrested the captivators. But she is receiving adequate medical treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
