PDP and AA political supporters engaged in an open confrontation at umu-Ayalu Egbu over who win the 2019 Governorship and State House of Assembly

Oha Egbu elders were jittery over high influx of political thugs in their community and it is not yet ascertained which political party is behind the sponsorship of such  act. 

But on the 7th of March 2019, youths of umu-Ayalu kindred in Egbu gathered under a mango tree that is in-front of His Royal Highness Eze-Ochoromma's palace at umu-Ayalu where they usually come out to rest when the weather is too hot. 

On that fateful day at exactly 12.00 noon when they were sitting together and there was a point of discussion which political party will wins the 2019 Governorship election two youths who were political supporters of People's Democratic Party (PDP) and Action Alliance (AA) changed the point of argument to a fight as the other person took a gun to threaten his own kinsman after the fight.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
