Female soldier trapped INEC REC 20 million Naira bribery bid in Owerri Municipal

Imo state Governor his Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha was stopped by 2.00 am at the entrance of Owerrri Municipal Council gate premises by
a female soldier, when he insisted to see the owerri Municipal INEC electoral returning officer as he offered 20 million Naira bribe proposal only if the could change 


the result to favor Action Alliance(AA) but the People's Democratic Party (PDP) were leading in all the polling units in Owerri Municipal Local Government as 


it was rejected by security personnel's on guard with a thunderous command of go back home it must be free and fair as the Owerri nchi-ise youths were put on alert by the village town crier over their master mind plans to rig the election and all INEC ad-hoc staff's were been followed by Police officers outside the gate to prevent unforeseen communication with politicans and party agents.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
