2 Bullets from cell phone robbers, sent a girl to an untimely grave at Edeedeede street in Owerri

Three cell phone robbers killed a girl at Edeedeede street in Owerri municipal local government area Imo state by 7.30pm yesterday with two bullet gun shots open wound that pierced her body as well the eyes which sent her to an untimely grave before she could get aid treatment as she refused to give them her cell phone when they forcefully demanded for it. Although passers-by watched her dead body profusely at the scene to see if she could be identified in other to reach her people nor friends and shop owners shut down business to avoid unwarranted arrest from police.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
