I have an eagle eye to indicate when their is danger - Rt.Hon. Emeka Ihedioha


 Imo state governor elect Emeka Ihedioha who received his certificate of return with the deputy governor Gerald Irona and the state House of Assembly members have thanked Imolites for their support to ensure that they emerge victorious in the election and appealing for their maximum co-operation so that they can succeed.

According to Ihedioha  who said he will run an inclusive government but it is very unfortunate that Imo state have been denied good governance for the past 8 years and there are a lot of indiscipline been experienced in the state it will be very tough but the system of running my government will not be dis and dat it will be transparent and not opaque because it will be a better change for everybody where rule of law is respected. 

We will get partner agencies that can help to liberate Imo state as well went further to say that " he is a product of legislative assembly as well his deputy governor, so i have an eagle eye to know when their is danger as for sycophants don't worry i know how to handle them".  

But in the next few weeks i will set up a transition committee that will commence work in Imo state.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
