Owerri N'chi-ise youths booed Imo state House of Assembly majority leader Hon.Lugard Osuji at the Owerri Municipal Council gate on Governorship and State House of Assembly Election day


Imo state house of Assembly majority leader representing Owerri Municipal Constituency and State House of Assembly candidate under Action Alliance (AA) honorable Lugard Osuji was booed by Owerri n'chi-ise youths at the Owerri Municipal Local Government Council entrance gate on the 10th of March 2019 at exactly 2.00pm when he arrived to sign the result. 

The youths screamed and told the security agents on guard at the Owerri Municipal INEC collation center not to allow him gain entrance into the Local Government with his car because he might be carrying some thumb printed ballot papers or written extra result sheets with him which might effect change on the collated result but  was allowed on self recognition as a house of Assembly member after identification and he was asked by the security agents to step down from his car before he will be granted entrance into the Owerri Municipal Local Government premises but his car must be car parked outside. 

Although he was accused by the youths of Owerri n'ch-ise of been used by the Imo state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha to demolish the Eke-Ukwu market as well other buildings in the capital city of Imo state Owerri and collected the sum of Eighty million Naira for the demolition of the market as the Governor Owelle Rochas promised an automatic ticket to Imo state house of Assembly for the second time and he was told that he is the next speaker of Imo state House of Assembly  if Ugwumba Uche Nwosu emerge as the winner on 9th of March 2019 Governorship and State House of Assembly election which no Owerri nchi-ise man have won it two times and Barrister Obinna Mbata was forced by the Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha to step down for Lugard Osuji for the Owerri Municipal Constituency State House of Assembly and go for Federal House of representative under Owerri Federal constituency which was zoned to Owerri West but in the constitution of Nigeria their is no zoning only credible candidates will be accepted by INEC. 

But Owerri n'chi-ise youths said honorable Lugard Osuji second term ambition to Imo state House of Assembly 
 he must be voted out because he supported their enemies.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
