Tribunal demand the withdrawal of certificate of return issued to Oyetola by INEC


Osun state Governorship election tribunal sitting in Abuja have invalidated the victory of Governor Adeboyega Oyetola as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the September 2018 election. 

 In the statement issued by Oyetola lawyers outlined that tribunal lacks the jurisdiction to hear the matter and the People's Democratic Party Governorship candidate Senator Ademola Adeleke have exhibited the charisma of incompetence in leadership when he represented Osun senatorial district in the National Assembly as Justice Peter Obiora upturned the ruling with merit of   fairness and equity in declaration that senator Ademola Adeleke won the election demand for immediate issuance of certificate of return him but Governor Adeboyega Oyetola have approached the appeal court.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
