Imo state house of assembly speaker Acho Ihim varnish with menace over impeachment


The Imo state house of assembly speaker honorable Acho Ihim took off the menace due to the planned impeachment saga against him was raised as they majority leader Lugard Osuji and Lloyd Chukwuemeka were suspended with the implementation of section 15 order . 

But an interim speaker was immediately installed from the Action Alliance Chinedu Offor from OnuImo local government area. Twenty one law markers endorsed the impeachment of speaker Acho Ihim, while Lloyd chukwuemeka and Lugard Osuji were suspended as the speaker's aide assisted him to escape to an unknown destination.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
