Obinna Nwogu winner of the new Toyota Camry donated by Uche Nwosu on worker's day







The brand new Toyota Camry which was donated by the former Imo state chief of staff Ugwumba Uche Nwosu to mark the worker's day in Imo state was won by Obinna Nwogu a local government junior staff and he is from Ngor Okpala local governmnt area in Imo state.



It was conducted through lottery balloting in the presence of the Nigeria Labour Congress Imo state chapter chairman comrade Chilapu Austin, deputy Governor designate Callistus Ekenze, and Imo state secretary Mark Uchendu which they selected civil servants were from the three senatorial zones Owerri zone, Okigwe zone and Orlu zone, a teacher, Local Government staff, as well a staff of the ministry which was based on certain criteria as the gift was handed over to Obinna Nwogu by the SGI Mark Uchendu who represented the Imo state governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha at the worker's day celebration held in hero's square.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
