Deputy speaker Imo state house of assembly Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo bow out officially




The Imo state house of assembly deputy speaker Ozuruigbo Ugonna (OZB) representing Nwangele state constituency tendered his resignation letter addressed to the speaker and members of the chambers  he said" I have been elected to represent my constituency at the federal house of representatives which have it's own challenges and expectations so i hereby resign as the Rt Hon.deputy speaker of 8th Imo state house of assembly effective from the above written date on the letter.”

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
