Imo state governor missing at children's day celebration

 
 Imo state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha was not seen during the children's day celebration held at the hero's square. 

The governor was been represented by the commissioner of gender affairs Mrs.Edina Okorie who took the compliment for the governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha and she read the children's day welcome address.  

But so many speculated that he must have been arrested by the economic and financial crime commission (EFCC),before the commencement of the event rather

he was busy commissioning some of his completed projects in the state which will be handed over to his successor Emeka Ihedioha on the 29th of May 2019.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
