24 hours curfew issued over the end sars protest in Imo state

 


Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma, after the inauguration of the judicial panel of inquiry, at the excos chambers in the government house, over the alleged police brutality and killings of innocent citizens of Nigerians unlawfully, by the special anti robbery squad known as sars, which led to the escalation of the mass protest of youths in Nigeria, which is on it's 16TH day, but the Imo state governor have issued 24 hours dusk till dawn curfew that all end sars protest must stop in the state to allow committee to work, will it be adhered by the protesters who are awaiting the quick implementations of their agenda's to have a better Nigeria.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
