Two police stations were burnt down and two soldiers killed in Imo state

 

Two police stations were burnt down yesterday, in different local government areas in Imo state, by suspected hoodlums and two soldiers were killed in the process, despite the curfew issued by Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma, to avert the further break of law and order by end sars protesters in Imo state, which have been hijacked by hoodlums and it is the 17th day, since the protest started in Nigeria.  

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, Orji police station in Owerri-North local government area were burnt down by unidentified hoodlums by 3.00 pm in the afternoon, while Nworieubi divisional police head quarter in Mbaitoli local government area in Imo state, was also burnt down in the evening, same day as soldiers who tried to counter attack the hoodlums in their operation at Nworieubi were were killed in the process, but it was confirmed that two soldiers died and further details on this report state that soldiers clashed with some youths in Orji, who were protesting but nobody was arrested in the process.

An investigation have commenced to know the perpetrators of this dastard act that led to the burning of the police station yesterday.  But a police officer was seen at government house junction, shooting upward angrily and there were no movement close to the government house to the curfew.
