Ten persons were killed at Isoko local government area in Delta state

  


Ten persons have been confirmed dead in a communal

land dispute between Oleh and Ozoro at Isoko local government area in Asaba Delta state.  

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, "The conflict took place on Friday 16TH of October 2020, but the attackers are youths of Ozoro community, as the went to the Oleh market and killed people, although the Oleh community have threatened to take revenge over the killing ".

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
