Military dispersed end sars protesters in Owerri

 

 

 

 


Military personnel's yesterday evening dispersed end sars peaceful demonstration, conducted by the youths of Nigeria in Imo state, at warehouse junction by Assumpta avenue in the capital city of Imo state, Owerri at exactly 10.15 pm, to restore calmness in the streets of Owerri, but the youths have remained resolute to their protest and , sending a message to president Buhari, requesting that Nigeria, should be made a better place for people to live and have been sending away political hijackers away to avoid destruction of properties and another protest point was at Naze junction in Owerri-North local government area in Imo state, but it is not known yet, if the military personnnel's that dispersed the protest, is a joint task force, formed by the federal government called operation smile and the federal government have given order that the end sars protest must stop. 

 



According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, " The Imo state governor Hope Uzomadinma, have set up the judiciary panel of enquiry, over the police brutality in the state and death recorded, as he addressed the youths during the commencement of the protest and promise that justice will prevail in their agitations. 

Although the youths have held candle light procession in  Owerri,in memory of those who lost their lives, due to the sars brutality and those who unlawfully detained in the cell or prison as the protest was led by actors guild of Nigeria, performing artiste, DJ's , comedians, lawyers, doctors and students.
