Nigeria is an indivisible nation and all we have give peace a chance say no to war and terrorrism - Ofo eze Jonathan

Peace corps of Nigeria, Imo state command, held a rally in Owerri, to commiserate with nations in war, which was set aside by united nation in 1981 as a mark of the world peace day.

 According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, from the Imo state commandant peace corps of Nigeria Ofo Eze Jonathan, who led the youths in the rally with their flex banners and placards tagged : Nigeria is all we have give peace a chance and say no to the division of Nigeria way, youths of southeast are saying no to fraud and corruption, no to cultism and arm robbery, no to terrorism and kidnapping. 

 

Finally we the youths of south east are not in support of IPOB for the creation of another country called Biafra because it is not the solution of our problems, but the creation of employment and spread of the dividend of democracy will united the nation Nigeria.  

 


Joanthan used the opportunity by appealing to president t Muhammadu Buhari to assent the bill of peace corps of Nigeria, because the have a great vision in handling conflict resolution and other bad vices in schools, which will as well create employment for the youths in Nigeria as we wish Nigeria happy 60TH independence anniversary.

Long live the federal republic of Nigeria.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
