Politics: Emekuku community is a backward area - Jude Ajaero

Heart Land FM Owerri radio presenter, chief Jude Ikechi AJaero, who is also known as man of the moment, during his advisory speech to Emekuku people, on the ancient celebration of Ugu-Uzo cultural festival event, held at the outside arena of Nkwo-emeke town hall, on the 18TH of November, 2020.

Jude described Emekuku community as a backward area and went further to ask, about the sons and daughters of Emekuku, who have made landmark in their various fields of endeavor in Nigeria, as none of them was part of the Ugu-Uzo cultural festival celebration, which is a trace of  our origin and unity.

But the number of people, who came to witness the event, was very disheartening to the mind, as none of them came out to show their support for the event, and with the present cult clash situation that led to the shoot out in Nkwo-Emeke market square, which made people to abandon their goods and fled to an unknown destinations for the safety of their lives, to avoid been killed by stray bullets.

He appealed to the youths of Emekuku community, to be useful to themselves, by bringing out good ideas that will portray their selling points to the world and Emekuku have people that comes from different diversified cultures that are residing with us and have taking the town as their home and use the opportunity to appeal to the traditional rulers of different autonomous communities to do their best and ensure that everybody is been carried along in their communities for a better leadership administration, by helping us draw the attention of the government about our challenges like good access road net work, agricultural empowerment, creation of jobs, protection of lives and properties, which we require government attention and that is the duty of our legislative representative not only wait for election time, the come to appeal for our votes and after the run away.

Therefore we need to reorient our our minds, ideas, get good training skills and read more books, it will help to transform the new Emekuku that we all want in future and that is the only solution that we can use to champion our development and everything is not all about politics, like he said before or the capacity of your financial strength in  wealth creation, but common sense and God given wisdom, will work for us and together we stand and divided we all fall.

Emekuku town is known for farming with their great agricultural products and they are peaceful people, with good religious and cultural back ground with beautified   educated personalities, in all areas of life.

He went further to say that in our archival history, Emekuku is the first place, where the Irish missionaries landed, for their evangelism to various places in Imo state, which transcended our catholic religious centre known as mount Carmel catholic church Emekuku, which sprouted holy rosary hospital and schools, which have contributed immensely in the human capital development, that are been managed by the church up-till date, as our health centres in our various communities are none functional, but lizards, termites and bats are made permanent landlords of the buildings.
