Sports: Super Eagles third choice goal keeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa dropped from AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone

 

Super Eagles of Nigeria third choice goal keeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa, was among the players dropped by Nigeria's technical crew led by Gernot Rohr, that will face Sierra Lone in the African cup of nations qualifiers, second leg encounter, which will played on the 17TH of November 2020. 

Nigeria played a 4-4 draw against Sierra Leone in their AFCON qualifiers first match at Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, who is Heart F.C first choice goal keeper, was seen at the old township stadium in Owerri, during his club final screening training session, dressed in his national team dark green and green jersey, with a black face cap, talking to his fans in a low tune voice to show, how unhappy he was with the draw played in their first match, AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone. 

But he was invited to the Nigeria's national team, to take the place of Daniel Akpeyi, who was injured in his clubs football match in South Africa.  

Ezenwa was part of the Super Eagles team that won bronze medal in the 2019 African cup nations after defeating the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in Egypt.
