Sports: Heart Land F.C of Owerri complete the screening of players for 2020 / 2021 season





 Heart Land F.C of Owerri, have completed it's screening exercise conducted at the old township stadium in Owerri. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, some of the players picked, whose names were in the list

were carried with the team bus and taking to the hotel, while the rest of the players, who did not make it on the last day of the final screening were six players, who were decamped. 

From a close reliable source whose name have been withheld, said the players are about to sign contracts with the team and will soon commence training with old players to prepare them the 2020 / 2021 Nigerian professional football.   


But from the main team of the Heart Land F.C, about fifteen players were not offered new contract, but their names were not disclosed.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
