Civil Servants : Unpaid ghost pensioners in Imo state receives one month alert, after nine months

Imo state government yesterday, sent a one month alert pension payment to pensioners, who were described as ghost pensioners by Governor Hope Uzodinma, after nine months of not been paid and with the stress of going to different ministries, local government and head of service to submit their papers.

From the report received by the Drizzlersnews, from an anonymous pensioners said, the one month bank alert pension payment sent to them, their is no indication showing the particular month paid to them and went further to say that our leaders think twice and change for us to have a better future, because so many of their colleagues who went for different verification exercises for their pension were sick and do not have money to visit the hospital, some died in the process of harmonizing their papers with the hope of receiving their payment in heaven, after painfully serving their father's land and it is right their not a favor to them, yet nobody considers their plights as elderly people, rather the beg politicians, who the voted in to help them or people who work in the pension board commission, request for bribe from them to attach their names in the payment pension and gratuities.

I wonder what part of the world Nigeria is because the blood of innocent people cry for justice as their families and their dependents are been abandoned to suffer on this earth will the continue to loot and people will continue to die in this black west african nation called Nigerian.

May God help us
