Community News: Oha-Emeke elders summons Drizzlersnews publisher Ezurike Frank Louis, over Eze.Ejeshi obi dethronement

 

The publisher and CEO of the Drizzlersnews media, Ezurike Frank Louis was invited by oha-Emeke Ezeulukwu elders council, for a brief discussion, at the Emekuku town hall on Monday 30TH of November,2020, over their masterminded plans to dethrone, the Ezemba autonomous community king, his royal highness Eze.Ejeshi Obi, which was published by the Drizzlersnews media, on the 11TH of November 2020.   

But during the meeting, it was changed from discussion to intimidation, with a threat of carrying out a traditional libation, if i don't tell them the identity of the person,who gave me the information and authority to publish such news without their consent and my voice records was been taking by them.

While answering them i told them that it is against the ethics of my profession to disclose such except if the court demands for such information and all details which i gave to them were not correct and but was done under duress because i know that if the identity of the person is disclosed, it will boomerang and he is among them. 

Nobody from Ezedibia or Ezeogba gave me the information or details, it is one of the Oha's among them, gave me the details and all behind the dethronement of Eze.Ejeshi Obi was because his traditional coronation did not take place openly and the Oha Emeke Ezeulukwu elders council were not involved.

Second point is that the have maintained that he is not the rightfully person to hold the kingship throne of Ezemba autonomous community, with this the whole scenario    totally divided oha Emeke traditional institution and in a way trying to indirectly distance themselves from the whole confusion, as the pressurize for the retract of the published news and all the questions i asked, they refused to answer. 

 But the case of Ezemba autonomous community kingship dynasty is still in court.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
